If it can record at frame rates of 1 million or more, then we consider it an “Ultra High Speed Camera.” It is important to note that the resolution or record time at these ultra high speeds can often be limited. One type of camera might offer ultra high frame rates at low resolution while also offering better resolution as the frame rate is decreased. This type also has a large memory buffer that provides flexibility with triggering. Another type offers great resolution at all frame rates (including ultra) but record times are extremely short. This type requires precise triggering of your event and the investment is much higher. A short conversation will help us determine what is the best fit. Please note that some of our camera offerings are not shown below.
